Affiliate and Advertising Disclosure
Effective date: May 28, 2026
1. The Short Version
Treatsphere (treatsphere.com) is a free website. We make money through advertising and affiliate relationships with the telehealth brands we write about. When you click a link on our Site and then sign up, make a purchase, place a call, or otherwise take action with one of those brands, we may be paid a commission or fee — at no extra cost to you.
We want to be straightforward about this because we believe you deserve to know how we are funded before you rely on anything we publish. This page explains exactly how it works.
2. How We Make Money
Madrank Digital Ltd, which operates Treatsphere, may receive several types of compensation from the third-party telehealth brands featured on the Site, including:
- Affiliate commissions — a fee when a reader clicks through to a partner and later signs up or makes a purchase.
- Paid placement — payment for a brand to be featured in a particular position, section, or unit on the Site.
- Pay-per-click compensation — a fee each time a reader clicks an outbound link to a partner.
- Pay-per-call and pay-per-lead compensation — a fee when a reader calls a partner or submits an inquiry through a link on the Site.
We may receive this compensation through affiliate networks or directly from the telehealth brands.
3. How Compensation Can Affect What You See
We believe in being honest about the limits of our independence. Compensation may influence:
- Which brands appear on the Site. We cannot review every telehealth company in existence, and the brands we have commercial relationships with are more likely to be included.
- How brands are ordered or presented in lists, comparison tables, and rankings, and how prominently they appear.
- Whether a brand is shown in a paid or sponsored unit, which we label as such.
In other words, the Site is a form of advertising, and a brand's willingness to compensate us is one factor in whether and how it appears.
4. How We Keep Our Reviews Honest
Compensation does not buy a better editorial score, a positive review, or favorable wording. We protect the integrity of our content in the following ways:
- Our editorial scores are determined under a published methodology. Scores are based on a fixed, weighted set of criteria — not on how much a brand pays. See our Editorial and Review Methodology for the full framework, the weighting of each criterion, and how we research brands.
- Paid placement is labeled. When a placement is paid, sponsored, or an advertisement, we label it clearly (for example, "Sponsored" or "Advertisement"). A labeled paid placement does not change a brand's editorial score.
- Editorial and commercial functions are separated. The people and process that research and score brands operate under the methodology, independent of commercial negotiations.
- Not every brand we feature pays us. We include brands because they are relevant to our readers, regardless of whether a commercial relationship exists. The presence of a commercial relationship is not a requirement for coverage, and its absence is not a reason for exclusion.
- Our opinions are our own. Ratings, rankings, pros and cons, and commentary reflect our genuine editorial assessment.
5. Reviews and Testimonials Are Honest
We comply with the FTC's rules on consumer reviews and testimonials. We do not publish fake reviews, we do not buy or incentivize reviews in exchange for a particular rating, and we do not suppress honest negative feedback to make a brand look better than it is. Where we summarize aggregated customer feedback, we aim to represent the genuine range of customer experiences.
6. Prices, Offers, and Availability Can Change
Pricing, discounts, promotions, product availability, and clinical services described on the Site can change at any time and may differ by location or eligibility. The information on the Site may not be current at the moment you read it. Always verify pricing, offers, and product details directly on the telehealth partner's own website before making any decision or purchase. We are not responsible for outdated or inaccurate third-party information.
7. We Are Not a Healthcare Provider
Treatsphere is an independent publisher, not a healthcare provider, pharmacy, or telehealth platform. We do not provide medical advice, prescribe medications, or sell any drug or treatment. Earning a commission from a brand is not an endorsement that the brand's services are right for you. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider, and please read our Medical Disclaimer, before starting, stopping, or changing any treatment.
8. This Disclosure Is Part of Our Terms
This Affiliate and Advertising Disclosure is incorporated into our Terms of Service and should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Medical Disclaimer.
9. Inline Disclosure That Appears on Review and Comparison Pages
To comply with the FTC Endorsement Guides, a clear and conspicuous disclosure also appears on each comparison, ranking, and review page, near the affiliate links, on the same screen. The standard wording is:
Advertising disclosure: Treatsphere is reader-supported. When you click a link to a telehealth brand on this page, we may earn a commission or fee. This compensation may affect which brands we feature and how they are ranked. It does not affect our editorial scores, which follow our published methodology. Not all brands pay us. Verify all prices and offers on the partner's site. Learn more.
A shorter version may be used where space is limited, provided it remains clear, near the links, and not hidden behind a hover, modal, or click:
Ad disclosure: We may earn a commission when you click links on this page. This can affect which brands appear and their order, but not our editorial scores. Learn more.
